Terrorist Attack on Al-Zahra Neighborhood (Homs) – 2011
This video captures the immediate aftermath of a terrorist bombing carried out by jihadists affiliated with Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, prior to his so-called “repentance.” The target was the Al-Zahra neighborhood in Homs, a predominantly Alawite area.
The footage reveals extensive destruction: burning vehicles, damaged buildings, and heavy smoke rising from the scene. Civilians are seen fleeing, screaming, and tending to the wounded, with clear signs of chaos and panic. The emotional impact is palpable, with survivors visibly distraught and searching through the rubble for loved ones.
The horrific attack, perpetrated by al-Jolani’s jihadists (then operating as al-Nusra Front: al-Qaeda branch in Syria), appears designed to maximize civilian casualties and spread terror within a specific community.
However, this act of terrorism is now apparently forgiven — after all, al-Jolani has since shown “repentance,” put on a Western suit and tie, and made all the right gestures. So of course, all is forgiven.
